Elizabeth
She began her journey in Bow back in 96 where she made her mark marrying Peter here during the Sunday morning service. (Peter then became the church organist for over 20 years). Ever since Elizabeth has worked on numerous community projects including Queen Mary’ University’s Council, The Royal Foundation of St Katherine, and she has managed large heritage restoration projects at Bow Church as well as many more unseen activities. Throughout all this she has made a real impact on many lives here in Bow. She has also committed tremendous amounts of her time to the Bow Foodbank as a trustee helping meet the needs of the community and has recently been recognised for her work, receiving an MBE in the 2020 Honours list.
For Elizabeth it is her faith that has inspired her to try to be generous to everyone. Just knowing that it is God who enables her to achieve all this amazing work, encourages her to have a heart of gratitude.
